Product drift / issue 01

Legal sign-off is a snapshot. Your product keeps moving.

A review can be accurate on Monday and outdated after Friday’s release. New vendors, data fields, and retention logic quietly change the facts that prior guidance relied on.

01

New personal data

A pull request begins collecting a user attribute such as location, date of birth, device identifier, or payment information.

02

New third-party sharing

A developer adds an analytics, advertising, AI, infrastructure, or support vendor that receives user data.

03

Outdated disclosures

Product behavior changes in a way that may no longer match the privacy policy, consent flow, or prior legal guidance.

A different starting point

Compliance that changes with the product.

Traditional compliance platforms collect evidence. Legal AI tools help professionals research and draft. Agerius starts with a different unit of work: the code change.

It turns approved guidance and internal policies into repeatable checks that run during development—when the issue can still be fixed.

Founder story

Built across law and software.

Agerius is founded by Oganes Avagian, a former legal practitioner and in-house legal leader who later learned software engineering to build the tools he wanted while advising technology companies. His experience on both sides revealed the same recurring gap: lawyers cannot continuously see how the product changes, and developers cannot always see the legal consequences of their code.

FAQ

Questions, answered clearly.

Does Agerius replace a lawyer?

No. Agerius helps teams identify changes that may require attention and apply repeatable rules during development. It does not provide legal representation or guarantee compliance.

What does the first version detect?

The first version focuses on pull-request changes involving new personal-data collection and new sharing with third-party services.

Will Agerius access our source code?

Agerius will require access to the repositories and pull requests selected by the customer to run its checks. Precise permissions, processing, retention, and security details will be shared when finalized.

Can we add our own compliance rules?

Organization-specific and lawyer-approved rules are planned as part of the product direction; they are not included in the initial MVP.

When will the private beta open?
